Campus Closed at 12PM on Feb. 18

In preparation for severe winter weather (snow and ice), Southeast Arkansas College will close at noon on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. This is a hard closure, meaning that all on-campus activities and events are halted to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff. All classes will transition to virtual instruction; students should check Canvas for further updates from their instructors. We understand that this winter storm may disrupt internet and electricity access in our area. Campus administration will keep a close eye on weather conditions throughout the night and the week, providing updates through Email, Text Alerts, Social Media, College Website, etc.

Residence Hall & Dining:

The residence hall and dining services at the Reef will remain open during this closure for our residential students. Great Western Dining will move to a weekend brunch schedule during inclement weather.

We urge all members of the campus community to remain safe during this winter weather event. Please stay informed, take necessary precautions, and avoid travel if conditions worsen.
