Associate of Arts in Teaching

The Associate of Arts in Teaching is intended for students who are seeking teaching paraprofessional certification or who plan to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a baccalaureate degree in education and obtain licensure. The A.A.T. provides the foundational knowledge necessary to work with children in grades kindergarten through sixth.

Degree Highlights

  • 65 Credit-Hour Degree
  • Includes the 35-hour general education core
  • Transferable to any 4-year, public institution in the state of Arkansas
  • Includes stackable credentials – Certificate of Proficiency in Teaching and Technical Certificate in Teaching
