Sam was a dedicated student at Southeast Arkansas College who overcame many challenges in his life to obtain his education. With English-as- a-Second-Language, Sam worked diligently to overcome his language barrier while maintaining a 3.6 cumulative grade point average at Southeast Arkansas College. Sam proudly obtained his United States citizenship status and he looks forward to continuing his undergraduate studies at a four year institution. - SEARK College Instructor

Southeast Arkansas College's Academic All-Star recipient, Adrian Miller, began his college career in Spring 2013. Adrian admits he finally stopped procrastinating and knew it was time to make a change in his life. He chose Business Accounting as his degree with hopes of achieving his CPA license. Adrian has not only achieved academic standing at the College, but he has become a very active member of the student body. While maintaining a 3.0 gpa, Adrian serves as a SEARK Student Ambassador, officer of Phi Theta Kappa, and as a tutor in general studies. He also volunteers for Arkansas Community Organization, which serves as a liaison between city government and lower income citizens.
