Services Provided by SEARK College

Web Advisor

WebAdvisor is the information site provided by SEARK College which allows students to access grade information, unofficial transcripts (as well as request official transcripts), register and drop classes online.  Students can also set up payment plans using the FACTS Payment Plan links within WebAdvisor.  More information can be found at the MyPaymentPlan site.

SEARK Moodle

Moodle is the learning management system used by SEARK College for all classes, online classes in particular.  The student email system is integrated with Moodle, which creates a one-stop location for class work and communications between the College and the student.

Access  Student Email Accounts

Email is provided to students via the Google Apps platform.  Access to email can be used separately from Moodle and may be synced with smart phones or email clients.

On-Campus Printing

Printing is provided to students on a per-credit hour basis each semester.  Each credit hour = 10 pages; each 3 credit hour class will result in 30 pages of printing on campus; unused credit rolls over each semester.  Additional credit for printing can be purchased at the Cashier's office, and loaded to student accounts at the Technology Services Helpdesk located in the Technology Services building next to Business Services.

SEARK Wi-Fi

Wireless Internet (on-campus only) is available free of charge to students and employees of SEARK College.  This is an optional service that is set up by Technology Services at the Helpdesk, and is compatible with most devices.

LOGIN Information 

Effective April 8, 2013, newly admitted student login information has been standardized.  The Username for the above services will be the Student ID; this number can be found on the Student ID card or registration paperwork. The initial password for these services will be the six-digit date of birth.

For example, if your Student ID is 0012345 and your birthdate is January 25, 1995, your login credentials would be:

Username: 0012345

Password: 012595

If you were admitted to the College before April 8, 2013, your Username and Password may not follow this convention as the change did not affect prior account information. The Username will remain in the same format as was issued to you.

Note: Each system maintains a separate password. While these passwords are the same when initially created, you can choose to either make each password the same or different when the system requires the password be changed.
